The room was very clean, modern, well maintained with lots of details thought about. The house was set behind but visible from the shops lining the main high street, so traffic noise was not an issue. There was a complimentary bottle of spring water, a range of hot drinks and biscuits, secure lockable double-glazed windows, which you could open to allow fresh air in, and a huge range of television channels including Netflix. There was a clear notice on the back of the door giving one the password for free WiFi. I liked having a work desk with comfortable upright chair.

Excellent location, being close to shops, pubs, etc. and a short walk from the Northern Line to get into central London. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Very good breakfast. Any inquiries also received a swift reply.

My attraction to Barnet is Oak Hill College, where friends are studying for their degrees in Theology. Barnet itself has nice cafes and restaurants and is a relatively safe and quiet area with easy access to London and Heathrow.

Beautiful grounds and an attractive lodge for a quiet, peaceful visit, just off the M25. A great place to stay outside of London, with a direct tube line to South Kensington if you wish to visit the Natural History Museum, Science Museum or the Royal Albert Hall.

There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. The tube is about 6-8 mins walk depending on your stride length....so all in all it is a good base to explore as well.

whilst on booking .com website it states free parking no reservation needed we received parking fine.we had registered car at check in.when we queried it with hotel they told us to send in photo evidence of the fine letter. so they can cancel it.we are waiting confirmation of this.the fact they have the ability to do this begs the question why say free parking then subject patrons to this upset

Only drive to get there it’s at motorway M1 and M2 getting to places by public transport would leave you walking around to get to your destination.
The hotels are in the welcome break stops which means you should be driving there the locality is not vibrant so your not going to see people about and plan your trip.
We had a lovely stay here. The hosts were very accommodating, the parking space was reserved for our car and the room was spacious enough for 2. With the hot water running well perfect wi-fi and a comfy bed there is nothing more you really need for a short stay. We commute to London by car and the exit to M1 is just 10 min drive. Meanwhile getting to the city centre is easy with the metro station 5 min away. The neighbourhood is safe and cosy. Go for breakfast in the hotel - great value for money.
The counter staff especially the polish girls are very nice and the uniformed security guards are pleasant too. The 24 hour 7 days a week security is required to keep the homeless and mental health residents of the hotel under control. Frequently the Alarms go off a residents have fights and episodes that the security guards have to deal with and call police assistance on some occasions.
Non existent bar or food.
Although in the same grounds as the owner’s property, the cabin felt private and secluded. There was a lovely area of decking with table and chairs which we would have used had the weather been better. Inside, it is very comfortable with a good size bedroom and kitchen/sitting area. We find the area a perfect place to get into London - we walked to High Barnet underground station, around 20 minutes.
The house is located very close to buses and an underground station. Easy to move around London. Although in a central area, the house is very quiet. The house was immaculate and homely. The owner was warm, friendly, and very helpful. We all slept well on comfortable beds. The facilities were very good. Breakfast had a good variety of produce and the hot food was cooked fresh and great quality.
This Guest house is a little gem. Just outside London but very close to the tube station. Usha the owner was very kind and helpful. Gave us lots of advise where to go with the children. The beds and pillows were so comfy. We had a tv and coffee making facilities, plenty of towels and free parking availability. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going again.
Easy access to London underground yet seemed we were in the countryside. Very easy to get into central London.
Staff were exceptional, always smiling and helpful.
Hotel and bedroom were spotlessly clean, plenty of plug sockets and we'll placed mirrors. The attention to detail with the guest in mind made our stay a delight.....thankyou.
I liked the accommodation and the staff, The location for us was excellent as it was near my son's flat. The room (room 2) was bigger than I thought it would be, it was en suite and very clean. I thought it was really good value in comparison to other hotels in the area. the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our 2 night stay
The room was amazing for the price we paid. We was travelling for a music gig but travelled from Liverpool to London via train and bus. When we got to the hotel we asked how we get to the location, staff helped us booking us a taxi and telling us best way to get there.
Room was very clean and spacious, facilities just right for short stay.
Location excellent for access to High Street, yet quiet as it's set back from the road.
Parking space definitely useful for the area.
Would be happy to book again.
Very friendly welcoming owner, and very helpful. Gave us advice on best way to get to where we needed to go in London.
Ideal location for what we wanted, only a short walk to tube stations and a really nice area
Considering London is an expensive city , all the facilities provided at Bay Tree House Bread & Breakfast are amazing. Heating in the room was very adequate and bed was comfortable.
