There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. Only drive to get there it’s at motorway M1 and M2 getting to places by public transport would leave you walking around to get to your destination. The hotels are in the welcome break stops which means you should be driving there the locality is not vibrant so your not going to see people about and plan your trip.

Nice comfortable beds with quality linen. The common areas are also fresh and welcoming. Excellent value. About a 20 minute leisurely stroll along the High Street to High Barnet Tube Station. The real secret about this place is the restaurant. I highly recommend booking. I shared the squid and the duck salad. Exquisite. Staff and service were absolute top quality. Brooklyn House is about a ten minute walk to the tube and then about a 30 minute trip into Central London. Further it is on the bus route to the station with the bus stop over the road.
