Nothing at all - it was perfect.

The property is situated about a 10 to 15 tram ride from Central Station as described in it's name :-) From outside the Station hop on the 26 to Lijburg and get off 3 stops down at Rietland Park. It's a 5 min walk at most from here. Or you could hop on the number 7 tram one stop and get off opposite the Dominos pizza - this would be best if you have heavy bags as it is less walking. Google maps took me right to the door. Frank, the owner, was not going to be there to meet me so sent instructions on how to get in the place which worked flawlessly. The area around the apartment is a very quiet residential area - which is a welcome relief from the centre of Amsterdam. It is in the East docklands are which has been nicely renovated and there are a number of walks along the waterfront which was pleasant in the evening. There is a small but well stocked supermarket about a minute's walk away which was handy. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has every facility available, including lightning fast wi-fi. There is everything you could need in the kitchen, microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc. The bathroom is a good size and shampoo, bodywash and other toiletries are provided. The shower is like something out of Star Trek - and it works brilliantly. The bed is massive, and comfortable. The lounge has a tv but I didn't use this but assume it works as well as everything else in there. Getting around from here was so easy. Hop on the Number 7 tram and head to the South of the city and get off around the Museum quarter and from there stroll back into the city. Or get back on the 26 if you need to be at the train station. Frank is such a lovely bloke - really couldn't do enough to help my stay be as comfortable as possible. He has a great knowledge of the city and will give you hints and tips for getting around the place. Will come back and stay here again.

Lovely studio, well supplied kitchen (microwave, kettle, fridge, tea and coffee supplied). Good location - quiet, nearby bus/tram stops, grocery shops. Nice and helpful hosts, very happy to give recommendations about Amsterdam. Easy access to the studio - I arrived when the host was there but it would have been possible to access any time if needed as the doors can be opened with a passcode. 100% would recommend :)

Self contained studio near shops and eating places with a very attentive host who went above and beyond to be helpful. Would really recommend this as a place to stay in Amsterdam. A short walk to the tram to take you into the city. Excellent!

Frank is super friendly and ready to help with everything, the apartment is also very-very good, and the neighbourhood is nice and beautiful. The apartment has all you need, including tasty coffee and welcome drinks :) It was actually my best booking in Amsterdam ever. Hope to be lucky enough to book Frank's place for the next trip to Amsterdam.

The property was better than expected. Lovely studio apartment style room located half an hour walk from De Wallen. There are two tram stops which take you everywhere you need to go very close to the property and a supermarket 2 minutes away. Frank was always so helpful and provided food and drink at the room which was very kind. Me and my partner would definitely stay here again.

For the English a toaster would be a great added bonus and a large microwavable bowl incase anyone want to cook.

Excellent location away from the noisy city centre but near enough to see everything. 3 stops on the 26 tram to the centre. Shops close buy and great cafes and deli. Frank was very hospitable and friendly and gave us some top tourist tips and beer!

Frank is an excellent guy, he is talkative, helpful, cheerful. The place is close to city center just 3 tramstaton away. Also you can take other trams to south of Amsterdam from where the house is. The room is also very big. My staying was awsome. The only place where I want to stay when I visit Amsterdam.

This was maybe my 8th or 9th trip to Amsterdam and I cannot say enough nice things about Frank or his place! Super clean, super cute, extremely comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, excellent location, and very good Wi-Fi. It was a work week for me so I spent a bit of time in the flat doing Zoom meetings but it was also conveniently located for the meetings I had. I like to walk everywhere and for me it was a great walk to the centre but there are also trams very close by. Also close to shops and everything you might need. Frank was super polite and helpful and just a generally nice guy. It was fine for me but be aware there is no oven or hob/stove, only a coffee machine and a kettle or a microwave. This is very typical Dutch!
