The staff was super warm and helpful from the beginning. The hotel has a lovely old interior that makes it super cozy, with lots of common rooms to hang out and meet people if you want. Breakfast and dinner are included and they were very tasty with lots of options. One of the ski options is nearby and it has a restaurant with great options for lunch and good prices.

Localizado a apenas 140 metros do teleférico Bergabanan, o tradicional Hotel Åregården está situado no centro de Åre. What a wonderful hotel. This is the perfect place to stay in Are. There is a short walk to the ski lifts, just enough to warm up your muscles, and you can ski almost back to the hotel at the end of the day even when the streets are clear of snow. This was a last minute ski trip with my son and we'd never been to Sweden before so didn't know what to expect. The hotel exemplified the concept of Hygge - it was warm, cosy, stylish and contemporary. Our room was a good size for a ski resort and even had its own drying cupboard for wet ski gear. There was plenty of hot water for a bath, the toiletries were excellent, there were tea and coffee making facilities and lots of hooks for skiwear. The breakfasts were unbelievably good. We ended up having about four courses every morning. With a range of mueslis, fruits, nuts, seeds, yoghurt, porridge, fabulous breads, cheeses, cold meats before we started on the cooked breakfast. Coffee was plentiful, service with a smile. The food in the wine bar was also excellent and we had a delicious dinner there one evening.

Located in the popular Åre ski resort, this stylish hotel offers ski-to-door accommodation, views of Renfjället Mountain and free use of saunas, steam baths and outdoor hot tubs. The staff went beyond expectations. Not only were they helpful, but we had several, slightly odd requests that they managed to help with. Always with a smile and a friendly chat. Either before the stay over email or once we got to the hotel. Location was right on the slopes with fantastic access for skiers, and only a short 5-10 minute taxi ride from Åre train station. Large selection for buffet breakfast and Hot tub with view out over the lake. Each room had a view of the slopes. Uber cool vibe throughout the hotel, from the small rooms to the large guest lounge. Additional public bar that was open to and popular with the skiing crowd, with the after ski party atmosphere and live band from 3pm-6pm added some excitement to the stay. They also managed to cater for our daughters coeliac, gluten free requirements with out any problem. She had some of the tastiest and most varied meals, especially breakfast that she has every had while travelling.

Located in the centre of Åre ski resort, Holiday Club Åre offers rooms with free WiFi access and views of Åreskuten Mountain or Lake Åre. Pleasent nordic cottage atmosphere. I loved the capacious lobby with three-story fireplace. Shops(grocery, gifts, soprt goods) are reachable within building. Rooms are equiped with dryer-closets for winter or rainy season.
