The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. They spoke fluent Dutch and English too and always had a smile on their faces. The room was spacious, good value for money, clean and had everything in it that one would need on a trip. Snacks, drinks and food was available from reception, and breakfast was also available. A perfect stay for one person, a couple or a group looking for somewhere simple but cosy to stay. Was also very well situated, easy to get to Amsterdam by public transport, and the centre of Zaandam.

Situated in Oostzaan, 10 km from Amsterdam, the new Van der Valk Hotel Oostzaan - Amsterdam offers free private parking and free WiFi. There is a casino on site as well as an à la carte restaurant. It was parking availability right in front. Also, an amazing restaurant, the food was 10 out of 10 and I promised it was very affordable. And a casino 🎰 inside, too. Also an indoor pool and a gym, rooms with a balcony. I was very satisfied and impressed. And a little store with 24-hour availability where you can get anything you may have forgotten or need.

Set in Zaandijk, Boutique Hotel Zaan offers a restaurant, terrace and River view is only in some of the rooms. This was such a pleasant experience! Only a walk across the bridge to get to the windmills. The staff was BEYOND helpful. Switched our room to give us an early check-in. Even helped me get pizza delivered after their restaurant kitchen was closed! One staff member was incredibly thoughtful in trying to accomodate my vegan diet. Very very nice people and a beautiful room we stayed in and GORGEOUS bathroom!! Bonus point for being across the street from a vegan bakery!

EasyHotel Amsterdam Zaandam offers a convenient location right in the city centre of Zaandam. Even if I read a lot of negative reviews this hotel is really great value for money. Location of the hotel is great, just 2 minutes from main central station. I traveled every day 15 minutes to Amsterdam. Room is small but if you are all day out it doesn't matter. Toilet is small but it is useful. Staff is great, I asked for more towels and they gave me.
