Well equipped room and kitchen (free fresh local milk), clean, and neat. Comfortable bed. Laundry facility. Quiet. Everything is well organized with thoughtful designed. Care for recycling. The staffs welcome us from the day we booked the room, gave clear instructions for late arrival. A handwritten personalized welcome package is a nice touch. Thanks you! Our plane was delayed and the staff were very accommodating about a late check for us. The room and bathroom was exceptionally clean. The furnishings were very clean and tidy, not tatty and old. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a lovely little outdoor sitting area which was private and sunny.

Just 40 metres from the stunning Tauranga Harbour, Asure Harbour View Motel offers free Wi-Fi, free kayak rental and features a beautifully cobbled courtyard with a communal BBQ area. Absolutely loved this accommodation and the owners who were super friendly. There were 9 of us travelling and booked 3 rooms. We all loved our rooms which were very spacious and super clean and modern. I had the room out the front to the left of the office which had a little veranda with seating looking over to the lake. Queen bed in the lounge area with a sofa and table and chairs and another bedroom with 1 single. Tea/coffee/milk supplied, all crockery, toaster, etc in the kitchenette. Another room 1 bedroom was upstairs with a fabulous view of the water and everything you would need. The 3rd room was just off the stairway, a 1 bedroom with queen bed, Kitchenette, sofa or sofa bed, table and chairs, tv. this room has an awesome grassed area out the back door with outdoor setting. I couldn't decide on this room or the 1st room with the veranda as all these rooms were outstanding in every way. There are kayaks you can use in the lake free of charge I think.

Livingston Motel is a 5-minute drive from Nga Tapuwae o Toi Walking Track, and a 15-minute drive from the Whakatane Airport. Excellent staff. The room was very comfortable. The spa bath was enormous.
