Set in Dowlais, 39 km from Cardiff University, Lady Charlotte Guest rooms triple rooms offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. We had breakfast at the Lady Charlotte Café and the staff and food was just lovely. Couldn’t recommend it more. Our Wales road trip was off to the best start.

Estuary Lodge Motel B&B is located in the quiet village of Talsarnau, in Snowdonia national park, within 5 miles of the coast. I liked everything: the location for excursions to the famous castles, cleanliness, breakfast and, most importantly, the attitude of the staff and a sincere desire to help and give the best service. Just 300 metres from the award-winning sandy beach of Trearddur Bay, The Beach Motel features local, handmade oak furniture in each room and a spa bath in each private bathroom. Staff were friendly room was clean breakfast was amazing

With a traditional restaurant and cosy bar, the Green Acre Motel offers free parking and cooked breakfasts. The M4 motorway and picturesque Porthcawl are just 5 minutes’ drive away. Wow what a gem, this is one of the nicest places, that we have stayed at. Can fault nothing. 10 stars.

Set in Cowbridge, 21 km from Cardiff Castle, Cowbridge Cabins offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I couldn't find it at first but i called the telephone number provided and a kind gentleman gave me directions. The location was fantastic, very peaceful. I would definitely stay again.

Set in St Clears, 30 km from Tenby, Forge Motel & Firehouse Restaurant offers a restaurant. The lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. kettle are featured. Loved the welcoming feeling at check-in and the interactions we had but also loved the feeling of being left to your own devices to enjoy the facilities. Really fab hotel very welcoming,
