Housed in a historic building, Sheridan Guest House features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Edinburgh, 1.5 km from Royal Yacht Britannia. The property is a calm oasis, with a gorgeous garden and beautiful art pieces from around the world on every floor. The furnishings are very tasteful and enhance the Georgian design. Our breakfasts were a highlight,and some of the best we’ve had. Rowena is a masterful cook and baker (her sourdough homemade bread is addictive). Her husband Tom gave us great suggestions on where to go and eat. We wished we had more time to try everything on his list!

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Falcon Crest Guest House is located in Edinburgh, 2.8 km from Royal Yacht Britannia and 2.9 km from Edinburgh Playhouse. The guest house owners were very friendly and always tried to help out where they could. The room was small but very pleasant. Location was quiet but was close to all major attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Elizabeth was such a great host, and went out of her way to make sure I had a smooth check-in at a late time. She also helped organize my taxi at checkout. The room and all the amenities were perfect and I loved the coziness of the entire place. Not to mention, the Scottish breakfast Elizabeth made was one of my favorite breakfasts I've had! Highly recommend staying here for a friendly and genuine experience in Scotland.

A beautiful setting with charming and quiet rooms. Great hosts! Restaurants and grocery within walking distance and travel to Edinburgh was easily accessible by bus. A perfect way to wrap up our time in Edinburgh.
