Birchwood Guest Lodge offers air-conditioned accommodation in Balmaha. Free WiFi and freee parking is available at the property. The owner welcomed me when I arrived late in the evening , tired from the west highland way, and was very kind and warm! He was helpful and patient even though it was pretty late. The room was decorated so special, and had everything I needed for a good night sleep. The shower is great. The location is close to the WHW trail and was the best choice. Very close to a pub and a coffee place. I would stay there again.

The property was recently renovated and is in good condition; the new owners have put a lot of time into making it hospitable and attractive. Parking was easy and the location cannot be beat! Walking, hiking, and so many activities right outside the door. The hosts are very considerate and even included milk for tea/coffee in the small refrigerator and plenty of tea bags and extra coffee. The pub is welcoming and the food was great. Fantastic place and we look forward to returning!

Richard is a very warm and welcoming host who wants to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. What we appreciated furthermore was that there were local products (Shampoo, Shower Gel) in the bahtroom that we could use. A further plus was the rich and tasty breakfast in the morning that was prepared with lots of love.
