The window-shades did not work in the room when we arrived. I called front desk and the guy arrived in about 10 minutes, but was unable to fix the blue-tooth operated shades. When he started to take them down, I suggested we be located to another room, which he did within a few minutes. The new room had a chaise which was not in the first room, and the blinds were manually operated so no trouble raising or lowering them. Heat control was good. Breakfast generous. Bathtub a plus. Swimming pool nice and clean (only 4 ft deep).

Vestal is a sprawling community with a university.
Vestal is a sprawling community with a university. There doesn't seem to be a real downtown although there is a town square where entertainment is offered in the summer months. Rather, there is a large commercial area along a roadway called the Vestal Parkway with a variety of retail shopping and dining options. There are a number of quality golf courses in the area as well one of the largest collections of working carousels.

This hotel provides nothing that is advertised.
This hotel provides nothing that is advertised. It’s dirty, breakfast menu hangs on wall but nothing advertised is available. No decaf coffee or healthy breakfast options. No way to get change for washer and dryer. Cups in room were dirty and moldy! 2 days of no serving utensils for food!

I was there to visit Binghamton.
I was there to visit Binghamton. Never enough time to enjoy my niece's fun company. Many, many stores and places to eat fast food and dine as well. We ate at Thai Time, quite delicious. We shopped at Target and bought lots of things for my niece in college.
Undoubtedly the best feature of this hotel was the eminently practical layout of both the bedroom and washroom. There was more storage in this hotel room than any that I have stayed in previously - and we really needed it as we were staying there one night in the middle of moving from Brooklyn to Canada. You could tell they had actually put a lot of thought into designing the rooms, which so often is not the case. The parking lot was large and safe. The breakfast was pretty good for a free hotel breakfast.
Staff is very friendly, gave me the option of choosing a suite on the first or second floor which I appreciated! The studio suite was the perfect size for me and it was very clean, the bed super comfortable. Having an oven in the kitchen was a HUGE bonus and the kitchen itself provided all the basic supplies one might need. I also liked how the property was laid out more like condominiums than a hotel, which helps to add to the feel that you are at home.
never saw the property. i booked on line 2 months in advance and received an email at 11 pm night before my reservation that there was an error and my booking “could not be honored “. As i was traveling to my daughter’s college graduation, this was more than an inconvenience. I was forced to pay an outrageous price for a “no frills “ hotel in an inconvenient location. I will never use Booking.com again.
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The color scheme and furniture were fun. There was a pool table and the lobby was inviting and warm. The location was great and there was a lot to do around the area. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. We also enjoyed the gym.
The only thing I can think of that we "liked" was it was close to our family event (reunion, baptism). Staff was generally pleasant. Apologized for hotel conditions and failure to deliver on breakfast menu. "Blamed" it on possible upcoming renovation project.
I booked the king suite with roll in shower and the place was big! Almost a bachelor apartment, very spacious, clean, and the kitchen was a favorite. I specifically looked for a hotel with a kitchen and this one delivered! It helped me save money on eating out.

The breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Selections were great.
The location was good for us. Being close to Vestal and shopping as well as close to Binghamton worked out great.
Very friendly staff member checked us in to the hotel. The breakfast was well-supplied and tasty. Our room was clean and spacious for our five family members.
- Breakfast (a rich buffet with the possibility of making fresh waffles)
- Location (for us, being a transit stop, this hotel is convenient out of traffic)
