I was traveling alone for work. Arrived late in the evening. I felt very safe there. Bed was wonderful . Used the microwave and fridge. It's an older hotel but well maintained. Shopping center close by and lots of restaurants to choose from.Overall better experience than much pricer hotels. I'll be back.

A good location when you have to catch a flight the next day and to visit the Silicon Valley companies like Apple and Google.
For restaurants it is better to go to San Jose, a lot of fast-food in Sunnyvale.

The management of this facility has serious issues with being on his not only with myself, but with Booking.com. They refuse to answer emails not only from myself, but also Booking.com. I have been waiting for a full refund that was told multiple time was processed on June 13. Only to find out today (6/29) by the general manager that it was just processed. Not only is this hotel not clean, not safe management doesn’t even know how to tell the truth. I wouldn’t recommend anybody staying at this property. I went to the manager several times, as well as the front desk to get our room moved, promise that would happen never did. any, and all the complaints that I voice to the hotel was never even acknowledged nor recorded. I have filed a complaint with not only Ramada, but also with Wyndham regarding this property. Horrible place to stay.!!!

Not much to complain about.
Not much to complain about. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. Target and Wholefoods supermarkets. A few others useful shops but not a major commercial area. For a visitor, everything you need.
If arriving from San Francisco Airport take the BART train 1 stop to Millbrae (approx $6), cross the bridge to the CalTrain platform to San Jose and get on the next train (usually at least one per hour, $6 for a Zone 2-3 ticket). 30-45 minutes later you will arrive at Sunnyvale station (no changes). The shops, cafes etc are just a couple of minutes walk.
Take an Uber or other taxi is easy and reasonably priced.
I was there for 6 nights, no car, just walked around. Felt very safe and quiet. Traffic appeared light and very respectful of pedestrians.
From my point of view a perfect location to stay, but you need to travel from there for things to do. You are in the heart of Silicon Valley, so the Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn HQ's are a short taxi journey away as is a typical shopping Mall. The CalTrain is a great way to explore other towns in the Bay area.

Sunnyvale is an up-and-coming little city about one hour...
Sunnyvale is an up-and-coming little city about one hour from San Francisco. Easy access to SF as there is a train station downtown. Very walkable to many restaurants and stores. Lots of parks and playgrounds for nature lovers. The downtown is charming and offers many unique restaurants. Near Mountain View and Palo Alto. I loved the Wittle Inn where I stayed.
The rooms were clean and updated!! The staff were so hospitable and understanding to our needs at this location and other Holiday inns expresses that we’ve stayed at ! The hotel was clean, the beds were awesome, and the breakfast was worth every penny! So many stores and restaurants near bye you really don’t need a car just take a nice stroll on el Camino road and you’ll find what you’re looking for, for example, Chick-fil-A is a couple feet away lol plus many retail stores like Ross!
Stayed here for a nearby conference. It's not terribly far from the Convention Centre but sits slightly awkwardly between two train stops. Room was clean and quiet, and the hotel is next to a small strip mall.
Pros - Room was fairly large and quiet, and included both a microwave and an actual mini fridge. I had a view of the pool which looked nice and well-maintained although I didn't have the chance to use it. Breakfast was also included but I didnt try it.
Lots to love in this brand new hotel, I really enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are clean, the employees are friendly and helpful. When we asked for the other remote in order to connect our laptop to the TV they were really fast to respond and provide a solution. The location is great and within walking distance to some good places, or a short drive to restaurants.
Never had an issue with noise, overall a great experience.
The rooms are renovated very nicely - kind of 60s-70s style, with a vacation vibe. The desk is a good size with a comfortable chair and one can work there very conveniently.
The pool area is very nice and is really fun to sit there and relax, the pool itself is bigger than most in such hotels - you can really have fun there for a few hours. Also, if weather permits, you can have your breakfast by the pool.
No where to put garbage. The one garbage can outside was always completely full and way too small. No room service the whole time we were there! I get saving water, etc. but absolutely no one ever came to the room to even check. Had to fight to get the door to unlock. One older staff member was absolutely sweet. The rest were very avoidant to help with anything. Really disappointed.
The hotel was really nice and located in a nice part of the San Jose valley. It wasn’t too far from restaurants and other shops and only about an hour drive from San Francisco. The hotel featured modernized interior aspects and the rooms were a really great size.
The breakfast is the highlight every time I stay in this hotel. I have never stayed in a similar hotel in the US that serves rice, hot miso soup, cup noodles, kimchi, together with the American style breakfast. Parking was ample and rooms were comfortable.
Short drive from SFO. Beds were super comfortable and breakfast was a very good spread - we enjoyed the waffle maker! We arrived late and the hotel was walking distance to a number of quick fast food options which was convenient.
The friendliest staff nothing was too much trouble, the standard of food at breakfast was excellent, the room, bedding, towels very good. The location for us was perfect. Most of all Jake at the hotel was superb.
Breakfast wasn't the worst: apples/oranges, tea/coffee/juice, pancakes, toasts, cereals and (very fatty) frozen wraps with cheese maybe ground meat.
No surprises overall for this kind of hotel.
I didn’t get breakfast because In my opinion paying an extra $25 was a bit much. Usually when I stay at other higher end hotels, it’s complimentary. But maybe next time I will give it a try.
