Our family of 5 loved our suite. We came here for Six Flags Magic Mountain but the park was closed due to inclement weather both days we had planned to go, meaning that we spent a lot of time in our room! We really appreciated the space and the full kitchen. Did some laundry too - the machines were reasonably priced. Awesome breakfast in a nice dining area. Friendly staff.

Surprising decor and features that were above average.
Surprising decor and features that were above average. Train across the street was the only downside, but rooms across the hall apparently don't hear the trains as much. Great bed and bedding. Great bathroom design and shower. We were very pleased with our stay.

Santa Clarita is nice.
Santa Clarita is nice. I was here for an event that happened to be in Santa Clarita. Lots of food options, canyon hikes, and city parks. Hollywood Blvd is about 40 minutes away and Disneyland is 1 hour twenty minutes.

We stayed in the Newhall area of Santa Clarita visiting family, but we have always enjoyed it. It's very well spaced out and nothing is to far. I am looking forward to exploring it more in the coming years.

The staff was very nice.
The staff was very nice. The decor is very outdated and needs a facelift. The sheer curtains had holes in them and the roomed smelled like sweaty feet. Had an out of control guest next door that kept us up all night. Staff tried to calm him but he ended up in the parking lot cussing and yelling til the wee hours of the morning. Very scary.
The pool had trash in it (toilet paper, snickers wrapper, dirt and bugs) we cleaned it out. A nice swim after that.
The breakfast was a joke. What little food or coffee offered was gone before 8 am. The juice machine was “out of order”. It would be nice to have fruit, eggs (even hard boiled) and sausage for the breakfast. We had to ask for coffee, milk, sugar and even a slice of bread for toast. Ended up having to go out and get breakfast. Would not recommend this place at all.

We stay in Santa Clarita on the way to visit friends.
We stay in Santa Clarita on the way to visit friends. Every time we stay we eat at Piccolo Trattoria - great Italian food. Not inexpensive but you get what you pay for - both the quality of the food and the service.

Good:
Good:
The hotels in this environment are expensive so we took 1 room instead of 2, for a family of 5 people. The staff were amazing and entered an extra bed for the kid to a double queen-bed room. There is a warm pool and a cold pool outside. The room is well facilitated and clean, shower is fine, there is a little kitchen aid in the room so it's very nice.
Bad:
Very bad wifi which disconnect you constantly, poor breakfast so better order the room without it. There are many options to eat outside or buy in the supermarket so don't worry about the breakfast. Rooms are great even without the breakfast.
OMG what can I say... We had just come from Vegas where we paid way more for a hotel on the Strip (LinQ if you want to know) it was trashy, stinky, literally zero human interaction and no breakfast.... Just walking into the Fairfield (and at the Residence Inn where we also had a room) we could tell this was going to be great. A very helpful and smiling person at the desk... the room was amazing from architecture to furniture to all the little details. The breakfast was off the charts amazing.
The room as very spacious and the bathroom fully equipped. We had private access to the bar at the terrace and managed to enjoy cocktails before bed, almost in our pijamas. The hotel is 5 mins away from the train station, that reaches Union Station in 40 mins.
The breakfast is very healthy! yogurt, fruit, coffee and pastries, but also toasts, cereal and boiled eggs. Very nice!
i liked the rooms, the location however was right next to a freeway. all night through the morning i was woken up by the loud sounds of traffic on the nearby freeway. the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the occupants in the next room (ours happened to be a family with a rambunctious toddler and a newborn). otherwise it was good.
I liked that the kitchens were equipped with plates, silverware, and cooking pans. They provide everything you would normally need at home. I also appreciated the swivel mount on the smart tvs. Normally hotels have a cheap stationary tv that only has cable.
We got two flat tires on I-5 N bound, had to get towed to the nearest tire shop and leave our car overnight, we found this cute clean hotel! It was nice and quiet and very welcoming. Mack was super hospitable and professional.
