Lovely experience to stay on board of a cruise ship. Loved the welcoming from the staff, everyone wearing a "captain" uniform, from concierge, to reception to staff behind the bar! There was also an outdoor pool and bar but unfortunately closed during our stay, due to bad weather. Room was surprisingly very big, with an extra living space, with a 2nd TV, sofa chair and coffee table. The room had all the facilities required, from iron board to kettle with coffees/teas, fridge and bathroom with shower gel, shampoo, body lotion in big bottles.
Located about 15 min drive from Central Station (about an hour walk), half hour walk from the city centre, 15 mins from water taxi (which can take you to the Kinderdijck windmills site) and very quiet all.around.

It was clean and reasonably priced. The location is very central and close to the cruise terminal. The staff was very kind. The lady who takes care of the breakfast makes eggs on demand. She did them exactly how I like. I will definitely book there again if I come back.
Bastion Hotel Vlaardingen is just off the A4 highway and neighbours the Vlaardingen Oost train station.

The hotel is located within a developing residencial area near the highway. Lobby was nice, King Size Bed room as well. Spacious, comfortable and a cozy King Size Bed as well as a big tv screen. Parking was for free. Location is perfect for the ones dont want to stay in downtown. Easy to reach by car. Metro station is 5-10 minutes walk and it take around 15 mins to Rotterdam donwotwn or 15-20 minutes to Hoek van Holland beach. Burger King and KFC in walking distance, but no supermarkets or other restaurants. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Staff have been frienldy with below mentioned exception

Fabulous location on the waterfront, very quiet and comfortable hotel. Meals were well presented and tasted wonderful. The single room was very spacious and quiet, with a high quality bed and linen. All the reception and catering staff were unfailingly polite and professional, but see my adverse comments elsewhere.

The owner was very helpful and kind! Bed was comfy, good location and nice bathrooms.
The Campanile Hotel Vlaardingen is located on the edge of Vlaardingen, just 20 minutes from Rotterdam. Benefit from free parking and the comfortable hotel rooms.
