The village is lovely and from our room we could see the little stream that flows through town. Also go and see the shrine, it has a nice set-up and a great look out over the village.

Located in a lovely quiet village. There is a shared kitchen (not many restaurants nearby) and living room. Tatami mats covering the floors. Even a small courtyard garden. The owner is around a lot but doesn’t live there so it is just courteous to give him as accurate an arrival time as possible. It is 10-15 minutes walk from Kashiwabara station. The room was small but comfortable. A very nice place to stay.
