They made the breakfast for you individually and it was good. We did not have to follow the menu that was given and could ask for what we wanted.

Everything - Paula made us feel like home with generous choices of delicious & good material quality breakfast - the best ever.
All the amenities in the room are top class and show us how considerate & attentive our host is.
The parking spaces, though small, always have a room for us.
Love it here & Thank you, Paula, for making our days & nights one of the best experiences we’ve had during our journey.

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old.
I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess.
Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess. Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of...
Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan.
A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere.
Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.
The room was perfect with a comfy bed, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with a private back terrace where you could sit out for meals.
Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast.
All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!
Fab location. No problem parking outside the property. I stayed in the single room that had everything that I needed for my two nights stay, basic but most importantly for me the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was great and Tor very hospitable. This is the hosts home not a hotel, if you want the “Glastonbury feel” then this is the place for you. The hosts were very kind and trusting I would defiantly stay here again.
Lovely place in lovely location. Had all the things you would need and all the information about how to use everything. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was comfy to be in. Very close to RSPB nature reserves and a quick drive into Glastonbury itself. Hosts even left milk, a bottle of wine, and some chocolate, along with a handwritten note. Would definitely stay again.
Ancient pub/hotel in the centre of Glastonbury - loads of history associated with this place. Paid the extra for a "four poster" room - well worth it as it was a great room - good sized room at the front of the building.
Good beer and plenty of cubbyholes to enjoy, also outside area was mainly under canvas canopies which was good.
Good helpful staff.
Didn't see any ghosts!
If you want to experience Glastonbury with all the comforts of a 4* plus accommodation then this is the place to stay. There is a lovely secret garden to enjoy a glass of wine with the convenience of having a fridge near by. The breakfast ingredients are locally sourced which is evident through the quality. I will definitely see you again next year thank you Paula and team.
This is a gorgeous hotel in gorgeous Glastonbury centre. All the staff were amazingly friendly and cheerful and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was gorgeous. We felt like a Tudor ruler. The food was fabulous. The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was lovely. We cant wait to go back again.
It was so well set up, cosy, beautiful location. I travel loads for work, so this felt like a home not a hotel. I loved how close I was to Glastonbury for my meetings but that I felt like I was on holiday.
Being able to cook dinner, breakfast and make up some lunch was also great, saved me a lot of money too.
Glastonbury Townhouse is located within easy walking distance both to Glastonbury Tor and to the town and abbey. The rooms are large and graciously appointed, and breakfast, with multiple cooked-to-order options, is excellent. Some free onsite parking is available.
Simon, the host, was very friendly, and so was the little dog. Room basic, but very clean. Lovely, welcoming house and great location as it was just 5 minutes walk to Glastonbury centre and I could park my car nearby.
I loved that it was so close to Glastonbury, Bath and Stonehenge and yet was apart from hustle and bustle. Such a cozy, country, quiet vibe. The apartment is very roomy and the hosts super friendly. Beautiful place.
The Crown Hotel is perfectly located for all the sights of Glastonbury.
It is well maintained and very comfortable .
The food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful .
Had an amazing, comfortable stay here . Thank you to Tony and the staff. This place is up there with the 5 star hotels I have stayed at in terms of comfort and service.
Location was brilliant for the area, 2 miles into Glastonbury where we wanted to be and near enough for a day out to Clevedon which I particularly liked.
