The hotel was really nice. In contact with us before the event and happy to help with our requirements. I think that this could be seen as a base giving visitors more opportunity to explore.
The Kings Head, a property with a bar, is situated in Bexley, 13 km from Bluewater, 13 km from Blackheath station, as well as 14 km from Greenwich Park.

The breakfast was excellent with great choice of food.
The beds were very comfortable and the linen crispy white and soft.
Everything was very clean.
The staff as we checked in were very friendly, so was the same young guy on shift on Sunday morning.
Campanile Hotel Dartford is less than a mile to the M25 - Dartford Tunnel. Bluewater shopping centre is within 3 miles, whilst Lakeside shopping centre is 5 miles from the hotel.

Set within the leafy village of Chislehurst, this 18th-century former coach house offers warm, cosily furnished rooms with Freeview TV. It features both a restaurant and 2 bars.
The room was really nice. Although as a disabled person with a stick it was hard as there were small steps in the building so a wheelchair user would have problems. That said the venue was really nice and the staff made us welcome explaining where things were etc. although there is no food served in hotel there are a variety of places to eat. However the breakfast places do not open until 9am. So in our case this was not practical as we had to meet others at this time. There is a supermarket so it’s best to get a few snacks that you can take back to the room.

I found Bexley village a quaint village in a lovely location. It had lots of lovely coffee shops, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance of my accommodation. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there, it had lots of local links for transport too. I will definitely be back for another visit soon.

Lots of lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk in the village, plus a couple of mini markets. Also good walks on the doorstep and easy access from the station into London and beyond. Also buses to the o2 and other local attractions.

Didnt get to see too much of the area as visiting family.
Didnt get to see too much of the area as visiting family. Never been but the village/small town had a good vibe to it. Surprised as only 30 min train journey to London it had a country feel to it.

We booked three rooms for a family event.
We booked three rooms for a family event. The Holiday Inn was chosen for its proximity to the event. That it was on a major link road was a bonus; that the room was well insulated from ambient noise was welcome.
Would I use it again? Under the same circumstances - yes.

A lovely high street with lots of cafes, lunch places and restaurants. For shopping, there are mostly charity shops. A lot of places are closed on a Sunday so check that beforehand. There's a market on a Sunday... Not sure if it's every Sunday but that was fun! Usually good connections for getting into the centre of London. Check on any engineering works!
THIS IS A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS, GRAND CHILDREN WORKING IN THE PUB BECAUSE IT IS A BUSY LOCAL DRINKING ESTABLISHMENT. THE TOWN IS NICE PEOPLE THERE VERY FRIENDLY, WILLING TO GIVE LOCAL INFO MANY GREAT EATING PLACES FROM CHIP SHOPS, BAKERY, COFFEE PLACES, ETHNIC AND ENGLISH. EASY ACCESS TO TRAIN STATION 200 YDS, MULTIPLE BUSE LINES TO OTHER MARKET TOWNS, ABBEY WOOD UNDERGROUND STATION (#229), GREENWICH, AND WOOLWICH, BROMLEY, BEXLEY HEATH. 35 MINUTE TRAIN TO WATERLOO STATION FREQUENT TRAINS.
The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of the local train station and bus routes as well as plenty of restaurants and bars. The room felt modern and was kept very clean with the bed being incredibly comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful and was in contact whenever we had any questions about our check in and the offers that local restaurants give to guests. My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the hotel and I have already recommended it to several friends.
I stayed here for the New Year period. The location is great for my visit. We walked into Bexley village for the train to Charing Cross, very convenient. The rooms were spacious, very clean and very comfortable. They had great WiFi and you can play your own apps from the tv such as You Tube. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the bar service was very good.
This was my second stay in Room 2 as I was hoping to find somewhere regular to stay, that wouldn't break the bank, while I work in London and live up North. The staff were again very friendly and helpful and the room as before whilst small had everything you need for one or two nights stay. Bexley is a lovely village and easy to access, the pub serves good food and has a nice atmosphere.
The room is comfortable and spacious and it seems the whole place has been recently re-decorated. There is plenty to eat at breakfast, parking is free. The hotel is located just outside the ULEZ (for now) and congestion zone area. This does mean that it does take at least an hour to get into central London.
Lovely room very helpful staff reception staff were perfect. Bar staff were difficult to find and didn’t really seem interested .when we arrived back to hotel at 23.45 was unable to get a drink at the bar. I thought the bar of hotels were opened for there residents . Breakfast staff were very helpful.
I love the hotel - a 17th Century half-timbered Coaching Inn - the real MacCoy! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. It's quite idiosychratic, which suits me down to the ground. With parking and a breakfast of sorts included in the price it was very good value for money in its location.
The location was great as the hotel is situated on the High Street. The reception manager was extremely welcoming and informative on where to eat etc and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. The room was comfortable with all that you would expect to see in a hotel room.
I didn’t like the property at all because i was scammed cos the so called Relevant hotel or whatever isn’t an hotel but a house with bad odour and bad interior….. I don’t even spend 30mins in the property and my money wasn’t refund back to me when I complained to booking.com
Great location and good value for money. A 3 minute walk to the train station for a 35 minute ride to central London.
Free and out of sight parking in the greater London area, which is rare.
Staff is friendly.
Great location rught in the centre of Bexley and easy access for public transport. Pleanty of pubs, bars, resturants and take aways on your door plus this pub does its own food.
We spent here 6 nights. Personal was very nice. Excellent breakfast. Food from restaurant was nothing special. But near the hotel is plenty of restaurants.
