The food was excellent, lovely breakfast served by an open log fire. We had an exceptional dinner, prepared by Bart and his wonderful wife. A truly fantastic experience. Great little swimming pool, lovely countryside, peaceful, exciting and totally relaxing. Just what was needed.

During check-in we were welcomed on the reception by lovely lady from Leicester. She greeted us warmly and explained everything perfectly. From that point forward we immediately knew this hotel was the right choice! Breakfast selection was brilliant!! The waitress who took our egg and bacon choices was so friendly. She even recognised us one evening outside the hotel with lovely friendly comments. Unfortunately we're unable to remember her name.
The rooms are modern and cater for every need.
It's perfectly situated in the city for sightseeing.
There's a fascinating selection of WW1 artefacts on display in the ground floor cabinets.
Even the check-out was a handled smoothly and efficiently with a full explanation. It also included detailed receipts of what we had charged to the rooms.
