It was so lovely, great views, beautiful house. Plenty to do with games room, yard with swing and bocce and great owners. Very relaxing and quiet. We went on a family holiday for my Mums 60th and all 14 of us, young and older had lots of fun. There were games, piano, guitar, kids nook with toys as well. We would definitely go again.

Lovely room, great beds, excellent breakfast options. Nice restaurant downstairs. Walking distance from train station and right in the middle of the shopping centre. Bathroom was only separated by a screen, so not very private. Room was upstairs, no elevator.

I was there for the Woodend Winter Arts Festival - I performed in the Choral Marathon, and decided to stay for the weekend and check out the other events. This is a wonderful festival with concerts by world-class musicians, and thought-provoking 'words and ideas' events featuring well-known writers and commentators, as well as public events that made the most of Woodend's streetscape and outdoor spaces. My only regret about the High St Festa is that, since I had performance commitments, I didn't get the chance to explore enough of what was on offer. I would love to come again even if not performing.

Such a pretty town with so much to do locally or a short drive to the neighbouring towns for even more to do an explore. Just over an hour from the city but you well and truly feel like you're out in the countryside

Could do with fans, or air conditioning, Gardens need a bit of maintenance, and cover on roof of pergola would be really great..but overall had a nice farmhouse cottage feel, very clean and tidy inside cottage.

Cosy, clean, contemporary and comfortable property. The fireplace and heated floors made it a perfect winter getaway. We befriended a cat that lived nearby and also saw kangaroos. Complimentary snacks and drinks added a sense of luxury. 40 min walk from train station as we didn’t bring the car. Would definitely stay again!
