We loved the location; walking around the headland; seeing the wildlife that came out when day visitors had gone home; and seeing the stars at night. The staff were welcoming and exceptionally helpful when I accidentally left my phone charger behind. We also thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of the lighthouse and its keepers….and finally, the delicious scones!

Excellent location and the view was very good. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Our unit had two interconnected rooms. Wifi was fast. Great balcony with good views.

It was definitely only very simple as described but you weren’t even able to drink water from the taps and besides going to the bar during ‘business hours’ had no other options, even a communal area to make a cup of tea would have been amazing. Doors all need a good hit of WD40! We stayed on a Sat night and I loved listening to the live music in the bar and it was great it stopped at 10.30pm.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The provided resources were clean, and the rental of additional towels and linens were very cheap. The room was minimally furnished, but this was within my expectations for a hostel. so quite nice. fantastic kitchens.
