We reached Denmark earlier than anticipated. Leanne and Damon were most responsive to our messages and we managed to check in at noon, two hours before official check-in time. The location was excellent, with a large IGA supermarket right across the road. We decided to cook our own dinner for the two nights we stayed over because getting fresh produce was so convenient. The fridge was also well stocked with milk, eggs, bread and butter spread, a very nice personal touch. The cooking hob, kitchen crockery and microwave made things so easy! The Wifi connection was good and strong (we had hardly any mobile data connection on our Optus SIM cards in Denmark on arrival). We were happy that the smart TV provided couldn't connect to the Wifi (since our children cannot happily browse YouTube non-stop!). Instead, there was also a good selection of child-friendly DVDs as well as board games provided which helped to keep my children offline and delightfully pre-occupied.

The fact that it was away from others, and nice scenery
Quiet and relatively unspoilt.
Best time to go is in Winter when everything is lush and green.
Could do with more cafes that are tourist friendly.
One has closed down indefinitely - another does not open on Sundays (the busiest time of the week when most tourists are in town).

Great, unique shops, local artisans, great food.
Just a few kilometers out of town some fantastic beaches, great for snorkeling or just soaking up the sun, safe for kids as well.

first time we have visited without our caravan and we missed it as not enough to do now that most places are closed, being in a caravan is better as can return to the van any time of day and relax under the awning and socialise but in a motel not easy.
only the tavern wants your bussines for meals in the evening the hotel does not and no others exist what a big dissapointment after 15 years of visiting

We chose Denmark as we read pamphlets stating that it was a dog friendly town which lived up to it's reputation. Our little Poodle X was welcomed everywhere we went and was even offered treats and a bowl of water. Thank you Denmark

Town was lovely. River walk to Wilson's inlet very scenic. Park opposite hotel very pleasant. We were lucky enough to visit when classic car show and wooden boat shows were on for tge Sept long weekend - a real bonus.
Local beaches beautiful and within short driving distances.
Absolutely amazing stay!! Russel was fabulous - so friendly and helpful! The place was SO comfortable, useful, pleasant, and well-stocked. (Although we did not travel with children, I will note that it was set up extremely well for children, with toys and carpeted floor space to play, books, and kids' DVDs.) This was the best accommodation of our whole five-week trip in five countries!! We wished we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely be back next time we visit Australia. :D
My husband and I spent four nights in the 'Tingle', one bedroom chalet, and everything about our stay was wonderful!
Magnificent views, lovely hosts and the chalet was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need.
Close to Denmark, great wineries and all places of interest. We absolutely loved being serenaded by the Magpies and Kookaburras every morning and evening. Just beautiful!
EVERYTHING :)
Maria and Trevor's house is tucked in a quiet part of Denmark where you can only hear the frogs and the birds. The apartment is spotless clean and the beds are super comfy. We loved making our own breakfast with all the fresh ingredients that were in the fridge. And Maria was a lovely host, gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do.
The photos exactly show how wonderful this property really is. The luxury appointments and inclusions allowed us to take 4 nights away from busy city life. The peace and quiet of farm life are well appreciated. A perfectly presented cabin, with amazing views. We sat around the open fire and enjoyed spotting shooting stars!
This was such a lovely little BNB. The hosts were so kinds and catered to our gluten free and vegan dietary requirements. The location is amazing - far enough out of Denmark that it felt like a hidden spot in the forest but only 6 minutes drive into town. A great place thank you so much!
Beautiful view with a great balcony.
The accommodation was well equipped, it had everything we needed and more.
There was even undercover parking provided.
The owner John was friendly and helpful.
Eagles Nest Ocean Lookout is niw our first choice accommodation in Denmark.
Great little place right on the main street in Denmark, lovely sunshine room, very comfy bed, very clean, everything you need for a short stay. Has a microwave and toaster so fine for basic meals. Lots of lovely places nearby to eat and drink. Would recommend 👌
A very unique and modern home. You feel that you are surrounded by treetops and literally part of the natural landscape with the rock jutting into the living room. Denmark is a lovely small town and the nearby Green pool and Elephant Rocks are spectacular.
This was a comfortable cottage in a great location , close to beaches and just a few minutes drive to Denmark.
Kookaburras at the break of day followed by the Magpies in Chorus. Tiny blue wrens hopping in and out of the underbush and a very good BBQ.
High quality fittings and amenities. Very comfortable room with lovely views of the "tall timbers" surrounding the property. Firm bed with beautiful linen. Would definitely return to Fernbnb if in Denmark again
We’re pleasantly surprise what a lovely hotel this is. The staff are friendly and rooms are clean. We were allocated a car park lot which makes it convenient for us. The popular Denmark Bakery is just next door.
Great location, friendly staff, close to the centre of town. It overlooks the Denmark River and the view is beautiful. Because the hotel is in a side street there is almost no street noise.
Neil kindly assisted us with booking a few extra nights at his lovely, tranquil property in Denmark. We thoroughly enjoyed the views of the water, trees and exotic birds.
