The tented camp also offers a converted reservoir where guests can cool down and the area is popular for birdwatching. We loved our stay at Harmony, was a nice ending of our South Africa trip! Tent was clean and nicely decorated, had a great view, and outdoor shower was a treat. Mike and Marietjie are really nice host. They gave us tips on visiting Addo. We also went to Daniell Cheetah project nearby based on their suggestion and it did not disappoint. The homemade dinner/braai was delicious! I would recommend this place if you visit Addo area. This was a last minute booking as we were not happy with our previous accommodation. We arrived 30 minutes later and everything was ready for us. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They even did our laundry even though we only stayed one night. Our 7 year old son really enjoyed the Wildlife Centre (mini zoo) and petting the rabbits. The entrance fee was included in the price of the accommodation. The view from the restaurant is really beautiful and relaxing.

We only wish we booked an extra night or two as one night is definitely not enough to fully enjoy all that this fantastic place has to offer. The staff were all lovey, friendly and really helpful. We would definitely go back!!

Valley Bushveld Country Lodge serves authentic South African cuisine. During cold winter evenings, guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge with a huge fireplace. It is located in a quiet place surrounded by nature, but at the same time not far from Port Elizabeth. It is very clean and well looked after. We stayed in one room (3 guests). The room and bathroom was very big, enough space for everyone. The service was excellent! I would like to stay there more than just one night.
