Gästehaus zum Felsen offers accommodation with a view of Lake Constance. The hosts were the nicest, friendliest and most helpful for foreign travelers and their English is great. The breakfast was the best we have found in Germany. The cook to order bacon and eggs was of top chef quality. The suite was bright, comfortable and had the biggest shower we have seen not to mention amazing views of the lake. It was so nice to not use our car since the location is close to everything as well as the train and bus system which is super clean and convenient. And let’s not forget the 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach……wow! The restaurant is fun and relaxing and the food was outstanding as was our server. Overall, this place has it all……..beer garden/deck, wine cellar, restaurant, fun adult beverage vending machine, great location, amazing hosts and staff………10/10.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Fischerhaus is situated in Salem. Every room comes with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some units include a seating area where you can relax.... The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. All bedding, towels etc were very nice. The breakfast was prepared by a lovely woman and it was more than we could eat. The house has an interesting history which we enjoyed hearing about.
