Featuring an a la carte restaurant, Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family is set amidst a garden with olive trees. The stuff were very kind and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was mindblowing.

Featuring an outdoor pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, the Cycladic-style Ifestos is quietly located 500 metres from the centre of Fira and offers air-conditioned accommodation. Lovely peaceful place. Close to centre, great pool area, offers food and drink.

Featuring a restaurant and a pool with sun terrace amidst its palm-tree garden, Royal Sun lies within 3 km from the centre of Chania Town. This hotel far exceeded its 3 star rating. I chose it as I’d hired a rental car and they had parking on site. the facilities were excellent; the pool, breakfast buffet, dinner at night and the helpful of the reception staff giving travel advice. The shuttle bus into town was a great addition as you wouldn’t want to drive in and try and park.

Christina Beach Hotel features spacious accommodation with sea views, located at the seafront of Kissamos Town. Guests are offered free WiFi in all areas, a swimming pool and a pool bar. The location, value of the hotel, pool, and room for our stay were all great. We enjoyed our stay at Christina Beach Hotel in Kissamos much more than Chania, which at the heights of summer tourism just ends up feeling like it is overflowing with people. There is a small, nice boardwalk area that has a few restaurants and bars one block to the east of the hotel, which continues for 3-4 blocks along Kissamos Beach. We found the beach that is one block to the west to be slightly nicer, especially at the section in front of Plaka Beach that has a wave break with very calm water.

Overlooking the Blue Flag Hersonissos Beach, the all-inclusive Creta Maris Resort combines a Cretan hospitality and green-oriented environment with exclusive 5-star services. The property is very well-managed, everything is in order and plenty of activities and sun and wonderful blue-flag beach. Very thankful for such a gem. Food is tasty and fresh, Estia restaurant and Anna who worked their and all the other staff were super friendly for us was especially good with a variety of fresh vegetarian and seafood, staff is absolutely professional and totally supportive.
