He was very friendly and helpful. The home (Rose Cottage) itself was exceptional and equipped with all the amenities and modern gadgets to make our stay really comfortable. Rooms were large and clean, the decor was pleasing to the eye and everything was tastefully decorated with all rooms having access to sunlight. The view from the drawing room to the outside lawn area was super impressive. Gerry even took us to the local area store to procure (due to the inclement weather) all the provisions required during our stay. I would say this place was our home away from home for 4 nights so many miles away and we would definitely come back here again. The area is very safe, and we even had long evening walks back from town. We would like to thank Gerry for providing us such a wonderful stay and wonderful memories of Portree. Regards, Parijat

We expected it to be nice from the pictures we've seen before our arrival but it was just beautiful! The room was big, the kitchen well equipped and the hosts even left some food there for us in case we didn't make it to a store before arriving! Most beautiful place I've ever stayed!

Situated in Portree, Sidhean Dubha Holiday Home offers BBQ facilities, free WiFi, a kitchen, and a lounge. It is set in a building dating from 2005, 28 km from Talisker Distillery. the house was very homely and comfortable. The house had most things you would want to convenience your stay.

We had the choice of 5 places to eat and a couple of grocery shops to choose from. The pod was exactly as described and shown in the photos. We bought tea, coffee, sugar and milk only to find it had been provided. I brought my own towel, again these were provided, with clean towels delivered after our second nights stay. The shower was decent and had good pressure, I wasn't expecting it to work well, but it did. Close by to Coral Beach and Dunvegan Castle. Lots of lovely places to walk nearby.
