The staff are very friendly, professional and efficient. Two thumbs up for the receptionist! Breakfast was good and the servers very nice. i love the location, very central. If you are lucky you get a slot at the parking which is limited within the premise. Will definitely go back!

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Gerard, one of the owners. The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant/bar very flexible (we appreciated it). We had lunch the first day and a few drinks both evenings. It is a family business with great attention to details: decoration, service, menu. We truly enjoyed the beautiful garden: it was a pleasure to sit down with a coffee in such a quiet and peaceful environment. All respect for the owners Gerard and Fiona who do a great job here; a true example of excellent hospitality!

Gary was an excellent, accomodating, informative, MOST helpful host (and that latter word should be interpreted In the handsomest way possible)... Portrush is a very walkable town, and Malvern House is located in a central and very convenient and pleasing location. I grew up in this town well over half a century ago, and Gary and the house were a welcoming "reception" for my hopes and memories. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to man and place. I had my 37 year old son with me and his enthusiasm matches mine.
