It was a perfect location in a beautiful old building with a bright breakfast dining area. The owner is so friendly and he sat us down with welcome beers and explained everything there was to do in the area. We took some of his advice and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious and he gave us doggy bags to pack a lunch. We felt very well taken care of and really enjoyed our stay.

This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square. The staff was wonderful. They took the time to explain the history of the prison and the rooms were nicely finished.

Pascal was very helpful directing us to a good restaurant for dinner. The location is ideal being within walking distance of the harbour and many of the attractions in Lilndau. We would certainly love to go back again for a longer stay.

Set in a historic building that was a hotel for emperors in former centuries, Hotel Goldenes Kreuz is centrally located in Regensburg. WiFi access and private parking are available for an extra... Regensburg is an amazing city, and this historic building is perfectly located for easy exploration. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, truly wonderful. We were quite happy with our choice to stay here.
