This is a wonderful cruise on the Amazon (aka Solimões - this is what Amazon is called in this part of Brazil) and Rio Negro rivers. Friday to Monday is Amazon river, Monday to Friday is Rio Negro cruise, you can book either or both. They have several activities every day - boat trips, jungle walks, etc. Tons of food available from about 6am to 11p. And they now have satellite internet service through Starlink. It's kinda pricey but it's a wonderful experience with attentive crew, great food, and amazing views. All rooms have balconies. The shower is very spacious (and big enough for 2 people). Several power outlets in the room.

It’s also right next to a huge mall with food, pharmacies, stores, and clinics. My sister was sick and I was able to easily get her medicine and food without taking a taxi. Neighborhood feels very safe. I’ve also booked them for when I return from the Amazon. Huge thanks to all the staff - they were incredibly helpful and kind to us. Breakfast and room service were also great!

Da Vinci is located in Manaus’ trendy district of Adianopolis, only a 15-minute drive from the city centre. It is close to many restaurants and shopping malls and features an outdoor pool and a well-equipped gym. We had booked an executive / premium suite. We found a roach walking on our bed. We also saw a huge dead moth under the curtain in the living room. We couldn't handle that and promptly told the front desk. They offered to move us to a smaller unit which we readily agreed since there was no other option, we did not want to stay in an unit with roaches. Atade was super helpful and responsive. I would have thought that when checking out, they would have reduced my charges to the smaller unit instead of charging me for the executive suite when we did not spend the night in that unit. That would have been fair. Great breakfast as well!
