Excellent location, very close to many monuments, restaurants & bars, railway station and direct tram to the airport. Peaceful and calm, very clean, warm and cosy room. The best room view we have ever had! The room really does look exactly like the pictures on the website. We thought it couldnt be that close! The room was clean, had everything you needed, quiet - even though you were above the main square, the windows are clearly new lol. The staff, Guilianna, was so helpful and accomodating, made the best dinner reservation at a nearby osteria, which did not disappoint. The location of the hotel was perfect as every major sighseeing location was within walking distance. Florence is very compact and there was no need for taxis or public transport (only once when we decided to go to viewing point at Palazzo de Michelangelo). Our restaurant recommendations - Da Guido for rustic and hearty food at very reasonable rates. Il Vezzo for gastro delights and a special occasion. Osteria d'olio for great lunch options. Osteria Novello for coffee and pastry to start your day.

Place was quiet and out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the city center which we really enjoyed. Lorenzo was very helpful and informative on how to get around the city and what food is best to try and he nailed it. Would definitely stay again if we ever make it back to Florence.

Everything was fantastic! The breakfast, rooms and of course the beautiful building, especially with all Christmas decorations. The stuff is very nice and friendly. Definitely coming back.
