This hotel is beautiful and nicely positioned overlooking Windermere. The lounge, terrasse and dining room are all well appointed and elegant. The meals are good and the breakfast was particularly delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, taking time to assist with whatever you need to know. Our bedroom, although slightly smaller than I expected, was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view.

Svært komfortabelt rom med alt en trenger. Kjempegod seng. Fin utsikt. Badet var stort og godt trykk i dusjen. Super frokost! Veldig hyggelig vertskap. Ligger ca 5 minutt fra jernbanestasjonen i Windermere. Ca 20 min å gå til Bowness, og i tillegg gode bussforbindelser til områdene rundt. Fikk tilsendt info på forhånd om turer og restauranter. Veldig hyggelig opphold! Anbefales på det varmeste.

The staff!! The feel of the place, the breakfast, the lounge to relax in with provided wine glasses etc for a byo drink in the evening.

We were received on our arrival by the friendly owners. The room exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect. It was very quiet at night, despite being on a main road.
