After an overnight coach, we're very tired and drunk all water. When we arrived, the staff refilled our bottles with both hot and cold water. It's a very warm welcome. Many thanks! After we left the city, we noticed that we had left our hot water bottle in our room, the staff kept it for us so we could get it back for our journey. So loving they're! For the location, it's easy to reach the hotel as it's very close to the train station. The room was clean and quiet, so we had a very good recovery from our long journey. The breakfast was great and there're many options. We enjoyed our stay there and we feel lucky to have stay there at our first night, so that we recovered very well. Would like to return again in the future :)

Built in 1854, this hotel was once the High School of Stirling. Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the city’s historic castle, it has an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant and free parking.

Each room at Stirling Highland Hotel is bright and spacious, with satellite TV and facilities for making tea and coffee.

We only stayed for one night, on our return trip, so I had not much expectation, but it was really a nice stay. The breakfast buffet was diverse and of good quality, the room was cosy, the car park convenient, and the gym facility, despite being small, a nice addition. The staff was really professional and helpful. If you fancy dreaming in a castle, that's definitely the one to chose!

I loved the friendliness and welcoming staff. They always seemed happy to help. The King room was spacious, warm and had a beautiful bathroom with a huge bath tub. It was a home from home and it was our first time in Stirling visiting a friend and the hotel made it a lovely place to relax in.

What a gem! We had an amazing, relaxing time at the Bothy. The house has everything you require, quiet, spacious and private and was decorated to the highest standards. The hot tub was lovely and private. The hosts were very helpful. The farm is a couple of minutes' drive to Callander if someone fancies a stroll or a meal out. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you

Lovely historic building in a central location. Only an overnight stay on this occasion, so can’t comment on food, dinning facilities. Did make use of the pool area which was nice and relaxing.

perfect location for walking into town where you will finds shops and restaurants. You can also walk to castle etc. The food was lovely and so was the staff. I would describe this place as excellent value, but if I stayed again I would opt to upgrade the room to upstairs. There was always space in the car park.

The room was absolutely perfect with a very comfortable bed and a clean and modern bathroom. Laura was extremely helpful with checking us in and explaining some of the top local spots and nearby walks. Thank you for a lovely visit!

The hotel was excellent, a lovely converted old school building in a prime location close to the castle and town centre. We were given a room upgrade to a very spacious, comfortable room with complimentary bottle of wine, a box of chocolates and a great view over the city from three windows. The staff were courteous and professional.
