We started our walk on the Southwest Coast Path here. We had traveled most of the day from London (thank you, rail strike) and ended up taking a taxi from Exeter). We ended the day with a pleasant pint over looking the water.

We had a huge bedroom with balcony and stunning views. The breakfast was excellent. I am gluten free and never stayed in a hotel where I am offered gluten free sausages. They were delicious too. We will definitely go back there.

Our hosts were absolutely lovely, really friendly and kind. They went above and beyond, even sending to us an item we'd left behind in a shop in Dawlish! The location was great and there was a scenic walk down to the beach. Relaxing sound of fountain in their garden outside our window. We'll definitely be staying there again if we come back to the area.

Parking in the driveway was instant and lovely not to have to worry about the car during our stay. Fountain was on when we arrived and it was a beautiful sound to relax to whilst sitting on the lovely patio overlooking the small town. Very quiet location on the rise of town out from seafront. All facilities brand new and sparkly! Wonderful choice of showers even.
