Location is superb as it's right opposite the Jetty Museum and the Bus Stop for 508 to Ullswater/Penrith in the summer. 30-40 min walk from Windermere station (or 20 min from the Bowness Pier) but it was pleasant! There's a nice small waterfall in their garden that we can enjoy. Hosts Adrian, Heather and Hamish (the dog) were extremely hospitable and Adrian even suggested to me some routes for hiking. I could see some hints of Windermere from the room window which was really nice. A variety of options for breakfast and they even have homemade jams and marmalade!
