Built by King Edward VII in 1877 for his mistress, Lillie Langtry, this listed Edwardian manor is a 5-minute walk from Bournemouth's cliff tops and approximately 1 mile from Bournemouth town centre. It mixes original charm with modern luxury, including free parking and free WiFi.

Everything was amazing and comfortable, the lovely gentleman at the reception was extremely accommodating and kind, and even helped us chill our wine and brought us wine glasses to our room. The breakfast next door was one of the best I've had at a hotel in the UK, and the staff was also amazing. All in all 10 out of 10, we will come back for a longer stay!

Good price quality ratio. The owner is very sweet and forthcoming. We received a warm welcome and were overall satisfied with our short stay visiting the Tank Museum in nearby Bovington. We only used the facility for sleeping more or less. The room was "cozy", but I gues standard UK size with a coffeemaker, water kettle, instant coffee as well as pods and tea, small fridge (for a few drinks or snacks), towels, shampoo, soap, slippers and a complimentary good night package included. Also a nice small garden in thd back. We didn't miss anything. Coach and train stations right around the corner as well as the big ASDA shop and a Mc Donald if desperate (wink)

I was upgraded to a beautiful large room with a view over the pier and the coast. Meals were served in Oscars restaurant because the brasserie was closed for refurbishment. I preferred it in there - lovely and cosy. I will return when it's all finished - even though the work being done wasn't an inconvenience. This is my second visit to the Royal Bath - thank you all very much

Everything! It was our wedding anniversary and we were given an amazing upgrade to a garden suite with a hot tub. The hotel has a feel of luxury as you walk in. The spa was incredible. The outdoor pool and surrounding areas are just perfect. The restaurant and bar areas were great, as were the staff. The suite was amazing and we felt pampered the whole time we were there. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Nici :) and a special thank you to Samantha
