We liked everything, but mostly the staff service. Each of the staff members seemed to make our stay comfortable and happy by anticipating our needs and solving any little problem we had. The morning breakfast was excellent. The Hotel is situated in a quiet but lovely center, and the entrance is easy (we had some thought when booking because the picture on the website showed many steps leading to the entrance, but when we arrived, we realized that the entrance is on the side and very convenient). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to spend in the spa but we checked it and it seems excellent.

La ubicación genial: al lado del pueblo pero sin estar en todo el centro... unos 500 metros como mucho, y al lado de paradas de bus, con los que te puedes desplazar por toda la zona. El personal es maravilloso y todas las recomendaciones fueron geniales. La habitación: cómoda, silenciosa, súper limpia y con todo lo necesario. Los desayunos muy bien, teníamos dónde elegir y repetir. La verdad es que estuvimos una semana y nos fuimos de allí con mucha pena.

The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Everything!! The bed was super comfy, room was brilliant, Steve, Tina & Charlie are lovely, breakfast was amazing, location is exceptional. Steve gave us directions for the perfect walk that starts just around the corner and looks back through town. We'll be back. Thank you both so much!

Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom, great location. Cooked breakfast tasted fantastic! Our 3 year old approved as he stayed in his bed most the night which is unheard of!

The breakfast was superb. Beautiful nutritious options served individually. The fruit smoothie was delicious. Also there were little sweet treats left out in the evening to have with a cuppa. Homemade treats. Big thanks to Amanda for her beautiful cooking. The bed was very comfortable. Service was terrific. Mark even helped carry our bags up and down the steps.

They run an exemplary B&B. The friendliness & thoughtfulness of the host with local knowledge was most apparent. Everything was of a high standard with provision of added extras to give be travellers a welcoming & comfortable stay. The host was attentive & helpful like a friend.

Fantastic location in Ambleside walking distance into town and the waterfall. Ample space for parking car in their private parking area out the back (not streetside). Room was small but perfectly fine for just me and my wife to spend the nights sleeping in. Breakfasts included were amazing, looked forward to it each morning :-). Hosts were lovely, chatty and very helpful. Will 100% stay here again when visiting the Lake District and would recommend it to anyone else too.
