No conocimos al anfitrion. Nos dejo una canasta con dulces, cafe y te. Somos tres adultos y la casa era muy comoda, pero vivimos en casas muy grandes y si vamos a un hotel siempre elegimos cinco estrellas. Esta casa tiene muy buen nivel, una decoracion sencilla pero muy bonita y todo funciona perfectamente. La ubicacion nos encanto porque buscabamos un lugar con chalets y sin negocios ni turistas, pero cerca de Windermere. Volveriamos si no vivieramos tan lejos como es Argentina.

Low Wood Bay is a very special place set in a magical location. The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with attentive and friendly staff led by Chad, one of the most welcoming and well-informed managers we have ever met. He was so kind and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a fantastic experience, including sharing tips of some of the best spots to visit in the Lakes. Special mention also to F&B supervisor Michael who was very professional and hard-working. He did not stop! The only problem with Low Wood is they have two exceptional restaurants, which meant we didn't really explore anywhere else- the food was too good! Reception staff were also very welcoming and even organised a balloon and chocolates for our special occasion- this topped off a perfect stay. We were very sad to leave.

Lake view (best hotel view ever), historical place built since over 230 years, quite and large room . Highly recommended 👌

I loved the location of the hotel. It was beautiful being lakeside and it was accessible to the Windamere cruises. I also love the 17m indoor pool.

Grand destination hotel. Wonderful location right on the lake. Old historical hotel with amazing fruit chandelier and calm quiet atmosphere. The dinner was the best quality food we’ve had in the Uk so far. The continental breakfast had a huge selection. We loved the swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna. Very comfortable bed

Lovely place, little dated in places but don’t be put off. Amazing staff and service. Free Prosecco and wonderful breakfast in bed.

La ubicación es excepcional. Las vistas desde la habitación son preciosas. Ideal con niños. Todo fácil y muy cómodo. Aunque el hotel está anticuado en su mobiliario y servicios, está todo limpio y adecuado. Me encantó.

The swimming pool was fabulous

Beautiful property right on the lake. Staff were super kind, greeted us kindly when we arrived quite late into the night, printed off a happy birthday sign for my partner and sent us off with take away sandwiches in the morning (we were in a rush). Couldn’t recommend this place more!! 10/10

The scenery from virtually any window was superb. The bedroom was comfortable and warm. The staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was included which is a bonus. Food and drink available in the pub.

The staff was exceptional! Everyone went out of their way to help us and make our stay very pleasant. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the grounds are lovely (especially love your peonies)!

I travel around the UK quite a lot but this was one of the best accomodations I've had. Staff were friendly, the rooms very snug and cosy, and the view from our windows just incredible. Beautifully located near a lake, peaceful and quiet. I wish we could have stayed longer!
