Set within the beautiful grounds of Highdown Gardens, Highdown Hotel is a former manor house offering luxury rooms and a restaurant. Guests can enjoy free WI-Fi access. breakfast was gorgeous. Room was clean and amenities wonderful. Didn't stay for dinner unfortunately, but the menu looked great.

We loved staying at Purchases from the minute we walked in the door, restaurant staff met us and showed us to the room. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. You couldn’t beat the location. The bathroom was the largest we had of all the hotels we stayed in during our first trip back to the UK in 3 years.

Weather was lovely and sat with Prosecco on the decking,which was on ice for us when we arrived. 1 night was too short - will be back again.

The place was so clean, and Judith fixed us an amazing breakfast with a specialty coffee! She was an excellent host and provided us with information of the town and surrounding area. She was extremely friendly and kind. Highly recommend!!! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was better than expected. I really enjoyed the room, it was spacious and clean. The staff is really nice and the included breakfast was excellent! I'll definitely book again in the future!
