Victoria House is a charming Victorian property in the heart of town overlooking the hotel gardens, blossom trees and the church. Diane and her team made me feel as if I’d come home for the weekend. My room was like something out of Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It is called The Snug and would be great for a single traveller or a couple. The furniture is antique, there is a flacon of sherry on the desk and the cooked breakfast was top class.

The facilities are excellent, spotless and well thought out, the property is warm and cozy, the bed was very comfortable. Wenlock studios are a mini home from home. Much Wenlock is a fabulous base to travel and see beautiful Shropshire. I highly recommend staying in one of these apartments.
