The house had a superb location in a quiet residential area but still very close to everything. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed which I loved) and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bottle of wine and snacks were a lovely touch. Free parking directly on the road in front was a great plus!

Plenty of on the road free parking in a quiet cul de sac. Helpful staff on arrival and check out but didn’t see any in between which was fine for us. 25 min or so walk into the city centre but we got Uber due to partner leg injury and was around £5-£10 Uber depending on time. Easy access in and out. Very clean and tidy room. Very comfortable bed. Quiet and pretty surroundings.EllaJamaica

Could walk into York centre in about 20 minutes via river or on the road. Ideal situation. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. Dan was a great host.

Free parking on the road outside and everything you needed was provided in the room and it was big enough for us and our Labrador dog. 10 minute walk to the city centre and a big field near the hospital where everyone takes their dogs helped us tire ours out.
