The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Situated in Honiton, in a historic building, 29 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, Ideally located Luxury Country Escape-The Lookout-with private garden dog friendly and private hot tub is a holiday... I don’t even know where to begin. Lizi and her family were the most wonderful hosts. So warm and friendly and responsive to our questions. She told me all the best places to go for antique shopping and hiking to the channel. And the cottage was newly renovated and exquisite in every detail. From the large, newly built wardrobe to the medallions and light fixtures on the ceilings to the beautiful lighting in the kitchen. Even the path to the hot tub was magical. Lizi even had homemade bread and eggs and milk for us. We will never forget you. You made so many memories for us in 48 short hours. Come to Texas and I’ll roll out the red carpet for YOU next time. Offering a garden and garden view, Mounthaven Guest House is located in Dartmouth, 34 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 2.6 km from Dartmouth Castle. Fabulous B&B, Rose and Shaun made us feel very welcome. Our room was lovely with a spectectular riverview. We have every intention of returning and would happily recommend to friends.

Located in Dartmouth, 42 km from Exeter, Waterfront House provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. The units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. The location, welcome, room, breakfast and facilities were excellent. We loved our stay in Dartmouth and Waterfront House.

Set in Combe Martin, in a historic building, 2.3 km from Combe Martin Beach, Lion House Bed & Breakfast with Restaurant is a guest house with a bar and shared lounge. A great house with all the comfort you miss from home!

Lower Ford Farm features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Cullompton, 26 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium. This farmhouse is charming and comfortable with a feeling of authentic English history to it. The owners are lovely people and breakfast was perfect, Nice, well equiped room and bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay. I personally loved the very soft bed, but some would find it too soft.

Situated in Tavistock, Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a bar. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk. At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a TV. The Cornish Arms is a real treasure! This is a traditional fine dining pub-hotel combination, with both components fulfilling the highest standards. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very quiet (we couldn't heat the pub at all); ours had a hedgehog theme. Spent a peaceful and relaxing night in the very comfy bed. All the amenities are brand-new but well selected to reflect the historical character; nice decoration details. Check-in was smooth at the pub bar doubling as reception. Without reservation, we got a table in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was simply stunning, with local specialties reinterpreted by a splendid chef. The hotel is in the middle of the market town of Tavistock (with parking in back), just minutes away from a beautiful mountain view of Dartmoor (check out the sunset). Picked up lots of souvenirs in the local deli (around the corner) and farmers' market, all within walking distance.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Instow Barton is set in Instow, 6.8 km from Lundy Island and 7.7 km from Royal North Devon Golf Club. Caroline and Colin really do a superb job. The full English breakfast was served in their lovely dining room overlooking their terrace and gardens. Everything was elegant and of the highest standard. Caroline could not have been more accommodating. Would highly recommend.

South View Guest House is situated in Lynton, 1.2 km from Blacklands Beach, 33 km from Dunster Castle, and 47 km from Lundy Island. The location was superb. Andrew was a great host and we felt that we were treated like royalty, the best breakfast we have ever had. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Set in Appledore, Appledore Factory offers free WiFi and apartments featuring estuary views and a fully-equipped kitchen. Imaginative design, cleanliness and high standard of appliances and fixtures. Friendly and helpful staff all contributed to a very pleasant stay.
