Located in Harrogate, 4.1 km from Ripley Castle, The Inn South Stainley provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. we loved everything about this place. what a treasure! we spent three nights, and during the days the great location allowed us to do drive to nearby attractions. the restaurant was superb as well.

Located in Whitby and with Whitby Beach reachable within 600 metres, The Dolphin Hotel provides a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. The room was bright and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, when we asked about dining out or finding a laundromat. The full English breakfast was piping hot and delicious . There was also cereal and fruit on the side and lots of hot coffee, tea or cold beverages. We sat in the breakfast room and watched the boats go by. we also enjoyed the pub right downstairs for food and drinks.

Located in Hunton, 25 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park, The Countryman’s Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Lovely community Inn, felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Good atmosphere, with lovely food. Had an event to attend in Catterick so wasn't too far to travel. Situated in a peaceful village.

Excellent location and although the restaurant food in the Hotel is very good, there is a Wetherspoons across the road serving their full range until 11.00 p.m. which is cheap, super good with a great range of craft an bottled beers - also unlimited coffee and chocolate. the breakfasts are comprehensive serving porridge and fresh fruit,as well as a full English Pop They also have an orange squeezer for fresh juice, but it was not operational during my visit— I was told a spare part had been ordered .

Situated 22 km from York Minster, The Durham Ox offers 5-star accommodation in Crayke and has a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Everything was fabulous, room, all the little extras, ambience in restaurant and bar, food was delicious.

Set in Gillamoor and within 19 km of Flamingo Land Theme Park, The Royal Oak features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Its a very small town. It has nothing else except this unique local hotel. Most local people seem to work here or have an economic link to this place. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is an experience and unique. The dinner menu’s are a true delight. The kitchen chef is a master. We ate here for two nights because we were exited about the first diner. The local nature park is a true beauty. Go and see!
