A delightful old pub close to the city centre and its many tourist attractions. The ruins of the ancient water mill (hence Miller's Arms) on the River Stour remain alongside the pub.

Good location to start exploring the town with a convenient opposite car park and its discount for £10 a day. Nice room with the river and small garden view. Even though there was a restaurant and pub downstairs, you don’t be disturbed by the noice. Staffs are all informative friendly and ready to help. Both dinner and breakfast were tasty.

It’s a characteristic old building in a charming village, the food is excellent and the staff very kind. We also enjoyed a walk in the surroundings after dinner. The perfect place for the first (or last) night in England.
