Forge Cottage is a peaceful and cosy, detached, one bedroom cottage. Only the high vaulted ceilings remind you of its start in life as the Victorian house builder's Forge, helping to create the neighbourhood it stands in. We are so lucky to have Clapham Common at the end of our road, surrounded by shops, restaurants and 8 mins walk from Northcote Road. We offer free off-street parking next to the cottage. It's only 5 mins walk to Clapham Junction & buses to Clapham Common every few minutes.
Our neighbourhood has amazing transport links, with over land trains going from Clapham Junction (6mins walk away) and Clapham Common, Northern Line Underground Station (12 min bus ride away) going straight into central London and out to Gatwick. Getting about in London from here couldn't be easier. We are so lucky to be positioned where Battersea and Clapham meet, so we get to enjoy the amenities of both. We have lots of big leafy parks, like Clapham Common, great shops, bars, restaurants and even theatre. We are only 6 mins walk from The Northcote Road, full of cafes, bars, restaurants and boutique shops. From March to September, Northcote Road is pedestrianised at weekends, for alfresco dinning, market stalls, festive days and big screens during Wimbledon. Our road lies between Battersea Rise and Lavender Hill. Both well served with lots of useful amenities including supermarkets, post office and pharmacies.
