The host was a very nice, smiley and kind person. She was very clear and punctual in the explanations about the stay, and she was also giving me many advices on what to visit in Hakone. Her hostel is a lovely, traditional guest house. I felt like in one of those Japanese movies that I was watching when I was little. It was also super clean and cozy. Kana also offers hot/cold free drinks, and a fridge to leave your stuff. The neighbours is quiet and peaceful. I totally recommend!

I felt welcome the minute I stepped into the hostel. The staff, the facilities, the lounge and the indoor and outdoor onsen.

Great location -- right opposite the Odawara castle, and close to the train station. Fairly simple automated check-in process; lots of detailed instructions were provided.

For the price, it was perfect. I was greeted nicely and shown around. I simply needed a place to sleep without breaking the bank and I was able to do just that. The bed was decent, and the curtains helped with privacy. The relaxing common area was well put together. It was super close to the station and I even walked to the nearby Castle after checkout ^^
