The property is situated 2.5 km from Utilita Arena, 2.7 km from Theatre Royal and 4 km from Northumbria University. The hostel features family rooms.

I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but instead I got a whole room to myself which was comfy. The bathroom was very clean. I think the bed was quite small for a single room but overall I was satisfied for a budget hotel.

Hostel bottom floor has a bar which is a fantastic social spot, brilliant staff, and they do a top quiz night! Great location was just round the corner from the main bus station. Secure lockers in the room.

The hotel was booked at very short notice as we had a boiler issue at home and had no heating. My wife and I decided to book the cheapest hotel we could find at the time as we only needed a shower and a warm bed. Great location and car park near by (Dean street multi storey), which is chargeable. Because of the location, we made a mini night of it, visiting a few local bars and brought back a takeaway. Comfy bed, warm room with air-con, large tv and adequate bathroom facilities, everything you need for a night.

Really great place for solo travelers! I have never felt so comfortable and safe in a hostel. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room and the ensuit bathroom were cleaned everyday. Overall a really nice place even for longer stays. Decent breakfast. Great location too. There were no issues when I asked to stay for another week, and they even made sure I was able to stay in the same room.
