Bath YMCA Hostel is conveniently set in the centre of Bath, and provides a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The property is located 600 metres from The Roman Baths, 1 km from Bath Spa Train Station and 2.3 km from Oldfield Park Train Station. The hostel features city views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk.

I like the location best, very easy to walk to tour places. And there is a parking lot acrose the street. Although the room is simple, but clean and there is a big dining room and hangout area at the main floor. Very convenient to stay for travelers.

Situated in Bath’s lively city centre, the St Christopher's Inn Bath boasts a bar and café, with a diverse food menu. The hostel is ideally situated for visiting the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey.

The hostel features a common room with sofas, a TV, books and board games. Towels and hair dryers can be hired from reception, where guests are also able to buy padlocks and plug adapters. The property offers free WiFi and a lounge, with facilities including a microwave, fridge and kettle.

The staff are amazing and friendly. I am yet to leave but because I extended my stay, I will write about my first few nights. ❤️ The place is awesome and fit for anyone and everyone. I love the lady from Thailand at the bar and Damion and the tall guy. They are really friendly and welcoming. 😊☺️ Meals are 25% off if you stay at the hostel. If you do come here, please try the burger and fries!! 😝🍔🍟 If you drink, they give welcoming drinks and they have shots for 1 pound!! 🍻🥃 I mean!! An all you can eat 6 pound breakfasts is available too. Very filling!! 🌤 They have activities for every night of the week like karaoke and live music and etc. It's right at the heart of Bath. So much to see. Not too far from the train Bath spa station and not too far from Bath bus station. 👌 I love the place and falling in love with it everyday!! ❤️ The hostels are clean. The rooms. Clean sheets and all. Bathrooms are clean. They have a chill out room too! I have met amazing people since I came here. I unknowingly booked a mixed dorm but no issues at all. The guests are mature. I didn't even change to a female room. 👏👏 I love the decor and art along the stairs. They have quite a niche! The whole St Christopher's Inn and Belushis bar. Just awesome!! ❤️❤️ Love! Love! Love! 😊😊 I prefer them to their London Branch. I unknowingly mistook my dates and even when I was willing to pay, they said there aren't any rooms even when booking.com showed there are rooms. Mind you, it's at night in London. A whole girl by herself with 3 suitcases and I was told to walk off. Bath, Thank-you!! ❤️ PS: Please pay or fix the upstairs TV decoder so that guys can watch TV at the chill out room and check the microwave. 😊😊❤️ Will upload better and more photos with next review.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The receptionist was so friendly! The room was the most budget option, but still so comfortable and had plenty of space. Its a very short walk to the roman baths and iverall a great location. Overall fantastic. No complaints here

Great location right in the city centre. Super friendly staff and guests. I stayed in a private twin room, with a sink, wardrobe and drawers. The bed was basic but comfy, and the room was toasty warm. I felt safe as a single woman (it was my first time staying in a hostel so I hadn't been sure what to expect).

The bunk bed was surprisingly comfortable and warm. The dormitory was clean and the toilets and showers were too. The location is just a short walk from the city centre, but far enough to be very quiet and give you somehow the feeling that you are in a country house. Wi-Fi was working correctly all through the hostel.

Cheap and cheerful! The rooms are classic hostel style dorms with bunk beds, so you know what you're getting. The beds were clean. The location is great, right in the centre of town.

Great location if you're visiting Bath but if you're staying more than one night, don't go cheap. No fault of the hostel's but the six bed Room # 1was noisy, people on Green Street and other hostellers arriving late. Bath room not awful but cramped. Would try the double next time if not travelling alone.

Great location, there's a lot of restaurant and a waitrose nearby. I had good talks with one of the roommates. There are not many hostels in this area, so it's a "good" option if you're on budget.

Not cheap at £200+ for one-night Saturday stay in a smallish triple room, but then much cheaper than everywhere else in central Bath other than the Youth Hostel, which wasn't that much cheaper and is further out of town. Very old hotel and it shows with door to room somewhat difficult to open, bathrooms in need of modernising etc - but everything worked, was clean and we were very comfortable for the night. Staff very friendly and beds lovely and comfortable.
