The Adelphi Guest House offers well-appointed accommodation on England’s north-west coast, just 2 minutes’ walk from Southport Theatre and Convention Centre. Caroline is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. Would strongly recommend this place if you're staying in Southport.

The Ambassador Townhouse is set in the centre of Southport, and only 10 minutes' walk from Southport Rail Station. Can't wish anything better in terms of location. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Warm welcome on arrival from host Tony and throughout our stay made us feel like visiting good old friend. Breakfast was exceptional with options to chose for each day and prepared to the high standard.

The Norwood Guest House is situated just 10 minutes’ walk from the Grade II listed Southport Pier and Southport beach. Richard and Valentina could not have been nicer or more helpful! If I am able to make it back to Southport, I would not even consider staying anywhere else!

The Breeze Guest House in Bootle is just 2 miles from Anfield, the home of Liverpool Football Club. It offers traditional English food, individually designed rooms and free parking. What warm and welcoming hosts and staff at Breeze! Obviously a family-run place. Julie checked us in and oriented us to a very nice and comfortable room on the second floor. not a large room but very clean and nice. Nice bathroom and plenty of hot water for the shower. The next morning, we were greeted in the breakfast room by the nicest lady who just fussed over us. Julie’s husband, Peter was the cook and he cooked to-order breakfasts. Delicious. He also came out of the kitchen to talk with us as we discussed football. We were in Liverpool to see Liverpool play Southampton and he is an Everton fan. Fun to hear their Scouser accents! Had a great sleep in a comfy bed.

Gary and Shirley couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable - friendly and always willing to do anything necessary to ensure our comfort but also with a sensible set of rules and requests to ensure all guests respected each other's stay - a real gem of a place which I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Southport - the omelette Gary makes is legendary 😋
