Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

Ivy Todd cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Debden, 6.5 km from Audley End House, 13 km from Stansted Mountfitchet Station, as well as 30 km from University of Cambridge. Everything. The welcome to start, the set up of the cottage and the abundant supply of food, snacks and even wine to make our one night stay delightful. This property has set the bar high. Should we be this way again it would definitely be on our itinerary. We had treetops cottage.

Situated in Clacton-on-Sea, 200 metres from Clacton Beach, Victoria Villa Guesthouse features accommodation with a garden, free WiFi and a housekeeping service. My first B&B experience and it did not disappoint! Amazing hosts, delicious food, super clean home, fresh linen and towels. The location is ideal, literally so much to do, see, shop and eat all within walking distance. Lots to do on the Pier and met lovely people. Was lucky enough to catch the fireworks on a Sunday night. I hope to visit again with friends and family some day. Karen is lovely and Kevin is hilarious. Will definitely miss them and their sweet dog Katie.

Lovely staff in a characterful inn, pub, restaurant near the water. I booked the small room that came with a warning so was prepared. The bathroom was spacious for the size of the room, and it was clean enough for this germaphobe. There's a small fridge in the common area with additional water and coffee supplies. I had a night ferry to the next day, and they kindly held my luggage all day while I went out exploring. Highly recommend!

Just a minute's walk to West Cliff Beach, Clacton-On-Sea town centre and Clacton-On-Sea pier, The Sandrock has free WiFi. A full English breakfast is freshly cooked and served every morning. Very cute little B&B. Lovely welcomed. Clean rooms with super comfy bed. Breakfast was superb.
