Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. Breakfast was outstanding! The room was clean as a whistle and the bed was super comfortable.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Breakfast was excellent and very rich. Staff very friendly. Really cozy hotel with an excellent design. A perfect place to relax

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.

Nothing was too much trouble and would meet your every need. Anne even had a birthday cake for my wife's birthday! Michael even let me try his favourite gin at breakfast! A lovely quiet calm to the house as a whole with a large bright dining room used for breakfast with wonderful view.
