Boasting a garden and views of garden, Abbey Court Guest House is a guest house set in a historic building in Carlisle, 38 km from Askham Hall. Kelly our host was very friendly. Our room was huge and spotless. My husband said it was one of the most comfortable beds he has ever slept in. We were only there one night but everything was great and breakfast included so exceptional value.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

Lovely hotel with large room, comfortable bed and nicely-appointed, spacious bathroom. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff, as well as free parking.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Comfortable, clean, great location! Wonderful breakfast and host!

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Breakfast was superb, there were many options available to choose from and we got to try different meals in our 3 days there. Bread was served hot, coffee and tea was good, service was prompt and friendly. There are even different types of cereal to start off our meal.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.

The Old Rectory features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Coniston, 18 km from Lake Windermere. Michael and Ann where the perfect hosts . Nothing was too much trouble and would meet your every need. Anne even had a birthday cake for my wife's birthday! Michael even let me try his favourite gin at breakfast! A lovely quiet calm to the house as a whole with a large bright dining room used for breakfast with wonderful view.
