Not sure what all the hate is. Room was clean.. and comfortable. It's a budget place but still had a kettle, tea and coffee with toiletries. Not sure what more you can ask for.

I stayed here for quite a while due to accommodation difficulties and got to experience all the rooms and facilities. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, friendly and a pleasure to stay with. They were so organised, kept everything beautiful and made it like a home. I could not have asked for a better place to be in the 3 1/2 weeks I was there.

Greeted with the smell of Sunday roast, had travelled from Dorset so had not really eaten, was shown to a gorgeous room, coffee machine, fridge with milk, yogurts fruit, bottles of water and orange juice, plus in the morning there is a basket of cereals,miniature croissants with jams and honey brought outside of my room,dinner was roast pork and veg, gravy and apple sauce, I am sorry Mum, but this was the most tenderest pork and best roast dinner of my life! The glass of Malbec wine I had was gorgeous and so was the brandy on the rocks I took to bed with me, thoroughly recommend here, what charming hosts and locals. 🦋

It was all very good, the bedroom and bathroom were well equipped and comfortable, everything worked, the food was excellent and the staff friendly. It has a pleasant location in Wimbledon Village, about 20 minutes invigorating walk from Wimbledon tube / train station but also on a bus route. I would like to stay here again if I'm working in West London or visiting the city. It is better value than the chain hotels and a much nicer experience.
